How to install the VR teleoperation application
On the robot
Reachy 2021 is already fully compatible with the teleoperation application. You do not have to install anything else on it.
On the Windows computer
Make sure your PC answers the minimum requirements.
SteamVR:
You have to install SteamVR.
To do so, install Steam on your computer if it isn’t already installed. It can be installed following this link: https://store.steampowered.com/about/.
Then from Steam, install SteamVR.
Teleoperation application:
Install the teleoperation application.
Before trying to use the application, make sure your VR device is correctly detected by SteamVR.
For Oculus Quest users only:
You need to install the Oculus application on your computer as well.
It has to be started before SteamVR.
Download it directly from the Oculus website at https://www.oculus.com/setup/.
